I love working with others to find out how to unload anything that seemingly weighs them down. This could include but is not limited to Learning the importance of creating healthy boundaries, overcoming substance abuse, women’s issues, being overwhelmed, anxiety, anger, grief, inability to focus, and depression.
Fun Fact: Robyn has two adult children, she loves to hike, and she has a fur baby named Zen!
Counseling is not something that I chose, but rather something that chose me. Dealing with unresolved childhood trauma allowed me to seek therapy. Yes, therapists have their own therapists. Representation matters, having more clinicians of color is one of the reasons why I decided to go into therapy. As I reflect on my therapy experience, I am reminded of the tools that have helped me become a better version of myself. I use my experiences to help adults and adolescent women recognize their trauma and provide tools to start their healing journey.
Fun Fact: I love to travel out of the country every year!

My name is Kayla Oates. I am in my fifth semester of graduate school at Mercer University. I have a focus on working with adolescence and young adults. The issues that I want to specialize in are trauma, anxiety, depression, and existential issues. I adopt several techniques from other disciplines, such as narrative therapy. It will be my pleasure to work with you.
Fun Fact: I have a two year old miniature schnauzer named Skodi Lee, I can solve a Rubik's Cube and Jhene Aiko is my favorite artist!
