When you or someone you know become diagnosed with a medical or mental health concern that is impacting your life in financial, career, social, familial, and more way, you start to develop anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.
-Do you feel like no one understands?
-Have you experienced a change affecting your financial/career/personal life?
-Are you trying to figure out your next career path?
-Are you having troubles showing up for yourself?
-Have you been diagnosed with a disability and feel alone in what it means?
-Or do you have a family member with a disability and are unsure of how to support them or what that means for you?
I know firsthand how difficult it can be to feel alone with navigating health/medical/mental health concerns, what to do next in life, and experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression. I was worried about what jobs I could have. With this new change in my life, I worried about how to not let it become me. I never knew anybody with my diagnosis and this caused me to feel alone. My confidence was shaken.
If you have ever felt like this, then we would be a great match! These were some questions and feelings I had when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and unsure of what I could do next. I have worked with people with disabilities, veterans, those with substance use concerns, college students, couples, and families navigating a new change. No matter how they identified, these feelings came up. How would others treat me? Who do I talk to? How do I get help? We can walk through all of these questions together and more.
Navigating career change, disability diagnoses, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, faith/spirituality, and changes in life are just some of the topics we can cover as we work together to accomplish your goals. I understand counseling can be frustrating process, but trust we will work through it together by increasing your toolkit for a healthier life. While I am your therapist, I am also your cheerleader and a part of your support system ready to help you meet your goals!
